Behaviour Policy

Purpose of this Policy

  • To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students and staff.

  • To provide clear guidance on immediate actions in response to incidents affecting students.

  • To promote a respectful, polite, and mature atmosphere where everyone can learn and work comfortably.

  • Students are expected to show respect for fellow students and staff and to conduct themselves in a responsible and considerate way at all times.

Unacceptable Behaviour

The following behaviours are considered unacceptable and may result in immediate disciplinary action or termination from the school:

  • Assault on, or abuse towards, students or staff (including sexual, racial, or verbal abuse)

  • Bullying, harassment, or making threats against staff or other students

  • Theft or fraud

  • Committing any criminal offence while involved in a College activity

  • Serious damage or misuse of College property

  • Seriously disruptive behaviour affecting classes or the school environment

  • Dangerous behaviour, including the possession of offensive weapons

  • Accessing, sharing, or making available pornographic or other offensive material

  • Possessing, using, or being under the influence of drugs or alcohol on school premises

Important Note

Any student found engaging in any of the above behaviours will be subject to the College’s disciplinary procedures, which may include termination of their studies at the UK School of English.
